Little Computer People
Long before the Sims ever existed there was a game called 5the Little Computer People on the Commodore 64 and other platforms.
This was a life simulation game where the premise was that you looked into a 3 story house in which a little man lived, this man would go about the sort of day to day chores that normal people do such as watching TV, going to the toilet, cooking , reading the newspaper and many others.
There was an interaction feature where you could ask the Little Computer person to do something, for example if you asked him he would play a tune on the piano. On occasion he would interact with you
Every copy of the game sold generated a unique character so in theory no 2 copies of the game would play the same way.
The graphic were very good and the sound effects around the house and pieces of music that were played via the piano added to the game greatly.
It was a strangely addictive game to play despite what you may think is a slightly boring concept, something the Sims would come to capitalise on years later. Oddly there was no high score and no win scenario either
